Meet our new Executive Director:
Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs
The Riverside Philharmonic is entering a new chapter, one shaped by creativity, collaboration, and service.
Guiding that vision is Jamie Azpeitia Sachs, whose life in the arts—and commitment to community—make her a natural champion for music in our region. In this conversation, Jamie reflects on the path that brought her here and the promise ahead.
Hi Jamie, can you tell us about yourself?
I’m Jamie Azpeitia Sachs—proud wife, mom of five visual and performing artists, retired ballet dancer, and a current elected official. My journey has always centered on service and the arts. From the stage to leadership within our community, I’ve seen firsthand how music, movement, and community change lives. I am honored to bring these passions together for the Riverside Philharmonic.
2. What excites you most about the Philharmonic’s future?
I’m so thrilled about so many things! The Philharmonic’s plans will take us boldly into the future while honoring our incredible legacy.
By expanding and embracing fresh programming, we’ll find new ways to connect with audiences of all ages.
Among our musicians, our community, and me, there’s so much creative energy here—it will be wondrous to bring something truly special to our patrons—I cannot wait!
3. Tell us about the upcoming concert!
Thrillers from Stage & Screen is going to be an unforgettable experience!
From spine-tingling movie scores to dramatic stage works, this concert will deliver.
Whether you’re a film buff, a music lover, or just looking for a fun, exciting afternoon of music with family or friends, this is the perfect concert.
With Hitchcock and The Phantom of the Opera on the program, you won’t want to miss it.
Clement Chow and Sam Fischer are our special guests—there’s so much! This is a celebration of drama, suspense, and, of course, spectacular musicianship.
Would you like to know more about Jamie?
Come to our concert October 25th - and meet her in person!
Grace with a spark — the young(er) Jamie: a warmhearted prima ballerina.
